SOMA Grounding Ritual
Ritual, in SOMA, means practice.
Each scent is paired with a simple sensory sequence that helps the body return to presence through touch, scent, and breath.
This is the core SOMA grounding ritual — a small act of calm you can return to anywhere, anytime.
1. Hold
Take your SOMA bottle in your hand.
Feel its weight and temperature — the curve, the surface, the stillness of it.
Notice what you’re touching: cool, stone, air, skin.
2. Mist
Spray a fine veil into the air, onto your face, or across your palms.
Breathe slowly.
Let the scent unfold.
Notice three notes you can smell — wood, resin, spice, something green.
3. Notice
Look and listen around you.
Find one colour and one sound that exist in this moment.
Let them hold you here.
Whisper to yourself:
I’m here. I am safe. This is now.
Variations through scent
Each SOMA scent begins with this same grounding sequence — a return to your body, your breath, and the present moment.
From there, each scent carries its own guided ritual — a landscape, a feeling, a state of calm to step into.
They are not perfumes, but atmospheres — small architectures of calm designed to ground the body and clear the air.
They linger like memory — quiet reminders that safety moves with you.
The core ritual teaches you to pause.
The scent rituals teach you where to go next —
to breathe with the earth,
to soften with the night,
to return after the storm.
The SOMA Grounding Cards
The cards expand on this ritual with small, guided practices for moments of overwhelm, fatigue, or emotional distance.
Together, the scents and cards form a quiet system of support — guiding the body back to presence, one simple ritual at a time.
